L034 - Virtual Tea Time · Teachers’ think tank – updates on current affairs and esl tools

This online series provides a virtual room for teachers to speak English, discuss research on ESL-teaching, exchange experiences, challenges, tips and tricks for the classroom. There is always a ’topic of interest’ and material to try out in class. Occasional ’surprise guests’ add an extra kick to the sessions.
Participants are also welcome to join only one or two of the meetings. Flexible participation is fine, too, even dates might be adapted. If you like speaking English and communicating with interesting colleagues, join us.

L047 - NILE meets PHDL: Navigating Diversity in English Classrooms · Differentiating Teaching and Learning to help Learners reach their Potential

This session is intended for teachers of English in Austrian primary and secondary schools who may teach classes with a diverse mix of learners in terms of their language level, learning preferences, interests and language/cultural background, together in large classes.
The session aims to have teachers reflect on and share experiences and ideas on planning and lesson delivery. Teachers will also find out and discuss ideas for supporting all learners towards reaching their potential.
