Due to a phishing incident, Microsoft 365 services are now accessible exclusively from within Europe.
The reason for this is that over 90% of attacks originate outside Europe. This measure significantly reduces the attack surface.
Exceptions
It is anticipated that exceptions will be necessary in certain cases. These can be enabled on a case-by-case basis. Typical use cases include business trips abroad (limited to the duration of the trip) and international students.

International students are asked to contact the Office for International Affairs (Servicedeskservicedesk@dioezese-linz.at). The individuals concerned will then be reactivated for international access. Please note that this entails an increased IT security risk.
