Target group:

This Research Training Group is aimed at individuals who wish to conduct research in the field of educational and social sciences.

Key points and implementation

The focus of the Research Training Group is on qualifying students to conduct independent scientific research with a focus on schools, universities and teacher training.

The work is supervised by a team from the Technical University of Dresden.

Admission requirements

The Research Training Group is aimed at those interested in all pedagogical professional fields who have completed a diploma, master's or magister degree comprising 300 ECTS credits.

Admission is individually reviewed by the universities on the basis of the qualifications submitted. Further information on admission can be found in the respective doctoral regulations of the universities.

Attendance of the ‘Social Science Research Methods’ course is compulsory. There is an opportunity to already specify your own research project during the course.

Completing the ‘Social Science Research Methods’ course does not guarantee admission to the postgraduate programme. The decision on admission is made exclusively by the partner universities in accordance with the currently valid doctoral regulations.
