L024 - Putting CLIL into Practice · The Theory and Practice of Content and Language Integrated Learning

The initial part of the talk will offer a brief outline of CLIL theory (what CLIL is, and isn't) explaining the 3Ds of CLIL (concepts, procedures and language) defining key CLIL principles of 'guiding input' and 'supporting output' and will give practical examples of application in the classroom taking example activities from a range of subjects.
Part 2: Hands-on CLIL
In part two participants will get their hands dirty working in small groups on CLIL task creation based on the principles outlined in part one.
